Anne’s has been developing the next generation of badass sailors for over 15 years, and she’s back for her sixth year at Caribbean Week. If you ask her how last year went, she’ll tell you the truth: what happens in the Caribbean stays in the Caribbean. This is a teaching boat and Anne will be offering 103, 104 and 114.

Boat 2 – Sweet Dreams – SOLD OUT!!
Commodore Fortenbaugh & Thomas Helck will co-skipper De Caribbean Regatta “Flagship” which this year has been renamed “Sweet Dreams” to race in the Moorings 5000s class this winter. This will be one full week of great sailing and instruction followed by lively social events every night. “Sweet Dreams” will focus on racing, tactics and strategy for people who want to learn more. The skippers will be training the sailors and letting each person steer for a while during the races.

Cruise aboard the luxurious catamaran Great Escape to experience the sailing lifestyle. We greet each beautiful sunrise with a swim and breakfast or boat yoga, coffee and chill time. I offer ASA 103 Coastal Cruising, 104 Bareboat Chartering, and 114 Cruising Catamarans on the trip, so learning is integrated into our daily routine. Each day we sail and explore the natural beauty of the BVIs. In the evening we anchor and celebrate with an anchor drink, flotilla party, or relaxed dinner on the boat or at a local restaurant. Boat 9 – Just Squid
The name derives from a secret sailing handshake from an instructor I once knew. I have sailed in many parts of the world but enjoy the BVIs for its low key, slow down pace of life … except when you are sailing on a monohull – the pace will be slightly faster! I have sailed with the club in the BVIs but this is my first time as skipper! I have a great first mate with years of experience to make this an experienced crew. Please join me for an adventurous week of a balance between sailing and off shore shenanigans!
