Once a month, Manhattan Yacht Club organizes an all-women sail. The purpose of this event it to support and empower our great women members. All women members are invited to participate and the event is designed to encourage women members to take more active roles on the boats they sail on.
“Freedom Fridays For Women” is organized usually on the 3rd Friday of every month. Please register in advance and then show up at the docks between 5:30 and 6 pm. Also be sure to bring your favorite libation and chill it down in the communal cooler while you are out sailing. Bringing BBQ items is also encouraged and after sailing, there is an important, festive, and highly encouraged social gathering! Prepare to stay late at the club if you are able to.
