Members have the opportunity of renting a locker to store their gear at the Club.
Each locker measures 12 x 18 x 36 inches. These are heavy duty steel lockers with ventilation to permit items inside to dry out.
These lockers are offered to Members for rent by the year. The cost is $20 per month and comes to $240 per year. The locker fee is billed once per year and the annual renewal date is May 1.
Lockers are offered on a first-come basis with members able to renew their lockers each spring before any surplus lockers are offered to people on the wait list. To get on the wait list, complete the form below and you will make a deposit of your first annual fee so that when a locker comes available, it is yours. If you ever want to drop off the wait list, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Lockers are excellent for storing your sailing gear, radio, shoes or a special bottle of Mt Gay Rum to share with your friends after sailing. There is an internal shelf inside every locker which can be removed if you wish to store larger items.
Rules for locker usage:
- Members provide their own lock.
- The lockers are the property of MYC and Members shall not alter the locker or apply writing or stickers to the outside or inside.
- All personal items must be kept within the lockers and no items stored above or below the lockers.
- The Club is not responsible for any theft or damage to items in a locker.
You are welcomed to stop by the Clubhouse any day to personally inspect the lockers. The lockers are assigned to Members on a first come basis and the office maintains a waiting list. To get on the waiting list for a locker, please complete this form below:
