Every winter, the Manhattan Yacht Club teams up with the Manhattan Sailing School to organize an incredible week-long sailing vacation.

This is FUN, SUN and SAILING like you have never experienced before!

We go in the deepest and darkest part of the winter, when New York City is the coldest and you really need the warmth and sunshine of the Caribbean! This will be the greatest sailing vacation of your life!

We all fly down to the British Virgin Islands which is the best cruising ground in the world. Then we charter beautiful boats from Moorings, Sunsail and other companies. Click HERE to find out how to get there.

Every day, we sail from island to island, visiting all the great beaches, shops, restaurants and bars. Every evening, we come together for parties and a super celebration of life!

The entry fee to participate in De Caribbean Regatta ranges from $1,500 to $2,200 per person, depending on the type of boat your skipper selects. The entry fee covers the boat (i.e. your floating hotel). Food, drinks and airfare are additional.

Our boat charters are for one week, starting on Saturday at 6pm and ending the next Saturday at 12 noon. But try to stay the final Saturday in the BVIs and fly home on Sunday. The reason is that on Saturday, we race against the Royal BVI Yacht Club and the West End Yacht Club. And that night, we turn one of their clubhouses into a “Final Night Discothèque.” Read More Here

This is an EXCLUSIVE EVENT, only open to Manhattan Yacht Club members, Manhattan Sailing School graduates and their invited guests. It is not open to the public. This is how we bring together such an incredible group of people.

MYC Members and School graduates can also bring a friend. So if you want to invite someone special to join you on this trip, go ahead.

For members and students interested in getting next level certifications, our sailing instructors also teach Basic Coastal Cruising 103, Bareboat Chartering 104 and Cruising Catamaran 114 during this trip.
